• Bodhi, the NSM Library has been functioning since 2005 and is located at the prime area of the campus. Its goal is to maintain and develop a collection that supports students and staff at the University. The selection of resources for our collection is a collaborative process between academic staff, students and library staff.
  
  Our library has a variety of study space options. We have an entire specified room for silent study, dedicated spaces for postgraduate / research students, and more than eight thousand of books (plus a huge range of online resources like Del Net, J Gate, NLIST). The library is partially automated with KOHA software.
  
  The library has a good collection of Malayalam literature rare books, Journals, periodicals, newspapers, question banks and CDS. Book additions are displayed in the entrance of the library. Barcode online circulation system is in practice in the library. The books are classified on the Dewey Decimal Classification; So, it makes the users to find the book easily and contributes to user-friendly system. Reference shelf is arranged separately. Special collections of books such as competitive exam books, Dictionaries, Encyclopaedias, Year books, Secretarial practice books, IELTS books, MLA handbooks etc.
  
  The library manages collections to enable students and staff to participate in the development and dissemination of class knowledge and ideas. To support the ways in which our students learn, we aim to have a broad selection of books and journals available digitally, enabling wider access and providing access to distance learners.

Library Management System

Library is automated with KOHA -an integrated Library Management System (ILMS), which provides a very user-friendly interface for searching documents (OPAC) available in the library and their issue-status.
